We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer C# with Python experience to join our team to work on a project for a global data analytics company serving the shipping industry.
You will join an international team of data engineers working on an IT platform for tracking ships participating in various sea voyages. The system automatically collects data on the amount of fuel, weather, speed of movement, and others. Based on the data provided, shipping companies can make more informed decisions and optimize their shipping budgets, get the best possible travel routes for the ship, and ensure travel safety.

Responsibilities:
-Build and deliver software products and/or parts of the products, code source and tools, including web services, user interfaces, data structure, data storage, APIs, infrastructure, computational jobs, KPIs, reports, analytics, data pipelines, algorithms, and architecture.
-Improve the quality of our products, including patches of existing code, bug fixes, remote servers administration, monitoring, maintenance, and incidents resolving.
-Deliver patches for past deployments, complex consulting services, and assistance with upgrades.
-Deliver tests, including unit tests, functional tests, manual tests, test cases documentation, static code analysis, edge cases verification, CI/CD tools and procedures.
-Work with data processing services including execution as well as design and implementation of data cleaning, pre-processing, filtering, queues, prioritization, scheduling, infrastructure, data storage, data transfers, networking, routing, effective data management, storage, and memory optimization.
-Deliver professional documentation, ordered analysis, and reports.
-Use Scrum and/or Kanban methodology to frequently deliver and verify results with the Client.
Requirements:
-Experience in NoSQL database technologies (Cosmos DB)
-Good experience with Azure Cloud
-C#
-Experience with Python
-Experience with APIs and integrations
-Experience in working with Scrum teams in an Agile software development process
-Good communication skills and fluent English to be able to clearly and concisely communicate with the team (both written and spoken)
