The Payments & Fraud team is responsible for ensuring secure transactions and managing fraud prevention systems, enabling smooth financial operations for millions of users globally.
Position Overview
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Software Team Lead to head the Payments & Fraud team. In this role, you will lead a team of backend engineers in designing and developing secure payment and fraud prevention systems for a large-scale gaming platform. Your leadership, technical expertise, and strategic vision will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless financial transactions for the company’s gaming ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, cultivating a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Oversee the delivery of key game features and core functionalities for mobile games at scale.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UI/UX, Game Development) to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Take full ownership of major features, from planning and specification to execution.
Be hands-on with coding, design, and system architecture, upholding high-quality standards.
Implement best engineering practices, ensuring scalability and high performance.
Drive the strategic growth of the R&D team in terms of technology, processes, and professional development.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience leading engineering teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a strong backend focus.
Proven experience in developing real-time web services for large-scale systems.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based architectures, particularly AWS.
Strong proficiency in Node.js (Backend) and familiarity with C# (Unity, Frontend).
A B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
