We are an international company with 100+ employees founded by IT engineers. We specialize in developing niche software for large international banks and investment funds. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Head of Infrastructure to join our global mutual team alongside our trusted partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, implement, and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure
- Develop and manage infrastructure budgets while optimizing costs
- Oversee and manage projects, schedules, resources, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, and regulations
- Lead incident and problem management efforts
- Supervise and mentor a diverse IT infrastructure team of up to 40 specialists across various domains (servers, storage, network, security, cloud, virtualization, etc.)
- Act as a liaison between the IT infrastructure team and other departments, including development, operations, support, business stakeholders, and customers
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- 15+ years of in-depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies (servers, storage, networking, virtualization)
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, incident management, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience with ITIL or Service Management best practices
- Experience in the fintech sector is required
- Deep understanding of cloud operations
- Fluency in English
- Project management experience and certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are preferred
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to determine root causes
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards
- Ability to identify and implement the most profitable technical solutions for the company
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
