The client: THE UK PUBLISHER
We are looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer with DevOps experience to join our team and work on a project for a leading publishing company based in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to develop a brand-new CI/CD pipeline and establish effective DevOps automation practices, improving the overall speed and efficiency of the software development lifecycle.
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will :
– work with a small and flexible team (4 ppl) in a very agile environment (planning, 2-week sprints, retrospectives).
– build a modern application based on a combination of React and Node.js.
– work with Terraform and use various DevOps automation techniques to set up an effective deployment pipeline.
The project is long-term, starting with the development of the first MVP and further expanding its capabilities. The ultimate goal is to streamline the Client’s software development process, focusing on continuous integration and delivery.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with React and Node.js.
Experience in developing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms using Node.js.
Experience with Next.js and SSR creating Single Page Applications.
Full stack experience implementing frontend and backend services using microservices architecture.
Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code solutions such as CloudFormation.
Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile development environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
English proficiency, both written and spoken.
Valid Polish residence and permission to work in Poland.
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or mathematics.
Experience writing GitHub actions for CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of web services, API, REST, Service Discovery.
Experience running containerized applications, ideally in AWS ECS using Fargate.
AWS certification.
