Project description:
The Client is the world leader in human language technology and the primary provider of quality lexical data to academics, technologists, and businesses around the globe. Together, we build and support lexical products which are licensed and used by startups and tech giants (Amazon, Apple, Google, Microsoft) to develop NLP software, search engines, multilingual applications, and machine translators.
You will be a part of a 10-people strong team (1 product owner, 1 project manager/scrum master, 1 team lead, 1 tester – you, and 6 developers) in a multi-cultural environment (5 different nationalities in the team already!). The teams are managed with great respect to personal space and focus on wellbeing (e.g. flexible working hours, coffee breaks, focus time, etc.)
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automation test suites with pytest to cover functional, regression and smoke tests
Create web UI tests with Selenium
Monitor test pipelines for many various projects
Be a part of a software creation process — actively challenge any problems at requirements phase (we are looking for someone with strong communication skills able to share their insights especially at early stages of the requirements creation process)
Assist developers with performance testing
Actively help the team to improve the quality of developed products
Requirements
Strong knowledge of Python and pytest
Knowledge of Selenium
Knowledge of XML/XSLT
Knowledge of Git
Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of Postman
Knowledge of Bash
Knowledge of Docker
Experience with debugging through browser development tools
Good communication skills (English)
Good skills for writing functional and regression tests
Experience in creating test frameworks
Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (Jenkins)
Experience in working with agile methodologies
Nice to have:
ISTQB certification
Knowledge of Java
Knowledge of JavaScript
Knowledge of AWS (or any other cloud)
Knowledge of Gatling
