About Our Client

Our client is an international company providing consulting & professional services. We are currently conducting an executive search project for the role of CFO for Poland & Baltic countries.

Job Description

  • Head of the Finance & Administration team in Poland and member of the management team
  • Functional manager for Baltic finance managers
  • Actively partner with the CEOs from Poland & Baltic countries to assess the organization's performances in the Group's Business Review cycle, including solid planning.
  • Act as the liaison between the local organizations, external stakeholders (Auditors, Tax authorities) and the Group (Corporate Finance & EVP) for governance purposes
  • Effectuate the design and implementation of (financial) processes, procedures, protocols and systems harmonized and standardized for Poland & Baltic countries
  • Support with M&A activities and post-acquisition integration

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience of successful financial management of which 4 years should be in a leadership position/responsibility
  • Big4 experience in the field of Audit, Tax and Assurance
  • University degree (Master of Science) in Finance/ Business Administration and/or professional qualifications such as CFA/CMA/CA/ACCA
  • Experience in an international company, with international accounting (IFRS) and financial management standards;
  • Exposure to a multinational company with large complexity and to multicultural environments
  • Familiarity with (European) Corporate Governance Regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with sensitivity to different cultures
  • A proven team player with strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions, specifically with the post-merger integration
  • Excellent (professional) English in writing and verbally
