Job Description:
Within the Infrastructure area, we are currently looking to hire a Civil Engineer to join our Madrid office.
Our team works on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as a standalone civil infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Our clients are from the private and public sectors and include long-term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors.
The responsibilities of this role include:
-Work is accomplished autonomously on small projects or portions of larger projects within established procedures and practices related to civil infrastructures
-Independently preparing design calculations or reports related to civil infrastructure elements
-Performs civil engineering work in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
-Performs a self-check of work products prior to submitting to others and participates in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff.
-Prepares project deliverables that are reviewed by senior team members.
-Provides guidance to entry-level engineers.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
-Proven track record of working on civil projects, ideally 3-5 years.
-Fluent in English (oral and written) is essential and knowledge of German (oral and written) will be a must.
-Previous exposure to German projects or Standards will be considered favorably.
-Knowledge of Autocad Civil3D or any other geometric design software will be a must.
