The role:
An introductory role is responsible for the end-to-end creation and execution of direct marketing plans for events. You will receive comprehensive training across all areas of the marketing mix. Responsibilities include:
- Managing data research process with key stakeholders to target the right audience
- Campaign analysis to identify key levers
- Setting up and updating event websites
- Weekly email setup, copywriting and data segmentation
- Leveraging affiliate marketing through speakers, sponsors, media partners and associations
- Promoting the event via social media channels
- Marketing budget allocation at the event level, with the manager’s support
- Attending weekly project team meetings
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- 1+ year’s marketing experience at an events company
- Ability to fulfill marketing plans with guidance from your manager
- Effective time management and prioritization
- Strong written communication skills
- Able to apply copywriting principles to external marketing communications
- Able to conduct basic data analysis to inform the direction of the marketing campaign
- Able to provide manager and project teams with detailed feedback
- Excitement about driving commercial results through marketing
- Experience of the following desired (but not required): Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, WordPress, Canva

£27,000-£30,000 + profit share (£29,000-£33,000 OTE)
