**This role is based in Bulten Halstahammar AB, Sweden**
Role Purpose:
The purpose of the role is to manufacture parts in the cold-forming section. Reporting directly to the production manager, the operator is responsible for ensuring production demands are met, whilst ensuring product quality
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Follows all procedures and maintains cleanliness standards in their working area
- Utilizes IT equipment to effectively communicate. For example, logging machine downtime and scores, and booking out tooling on the PS monitor.
- Reads and understands part drawings and BOMs
- Carries out daily cleaning and maintenance tasks on their equipment
- Safely and effectively carries out coil changes
- Carries out routine tool changes on worn tooling such as pins, punches, dies, inserts, etc.
- Changes feed rollers and drawing dies
- Changes knives’ & quills
- Carries out changeovers, using datasheets of previous production runs
- Sets up and runs Brankamp units
- Carries out setting adjustments to machinery to achieve products of the desirable quality/dimensions
- Follows all quality control systems, such as first-offs, catch pans, and issue reporting
